Secondly, as Lou reported, the Eagles did in fact sign a guy who had been working as a magician in Vegas to replace Batrum as their long-snapper. I really hope they come up with some trick plays now where he snaps it, but a dove (or a rubber chicken) ends up in the hands of the punter, while the football mysteriously disappears until it ends up under Westbrook's jersey as he runs in for the score. Actually, they should make this a permanent part of their playbook. Let's keep this guy around and see if he can come up with any razmatazz like that.

ATL over WSH ( i don't know anymore.... i just don't.... this is a coin flip)
NE over DET (that's better)
IND over TEN (i'm VERY tempted here, but i can't)
JAX over MIA (i'm also very tempted here, but i think jags have righted themselves for this week)
NYG over DAL (my big upset pick of the week... all this negativity is going to get them mad, and for one week, it works)
NO over SF/SC/PEN (i must be 3-10 picking saints games this year, so i'll throw them a bone.... but i want nomads to make noise)
KC over CLE (too much LJ)
CHI over MIN (vikings shaky and away)
GB over NYJ (this is very doable)
HOU over OAK (before the season started, i picked this as the ugliest game of the year.. and it is... texans have small momentum)
DEN over SEA (at home, even with cutler in, denver is tough)
SD over BUF (buffalo has a shot again at an upset, but two in a row is tough)
PIT over TB (just what steelers needed)
CAR over PHL (espn: "I've made a terrible mistake.")
