i feel a draft (long gone)

Here's my quick take on the draft:

EAGLES - Why Kevin Kolb, after bringing in Kelly Holcombe and A. J. Feeley? They claim they need to think towards the future.... I say too tsun. Way too tsun. Unless they want to keep him on the practice squad for a few years... but you don't use a second round pick on someone like that. They should have waited until later.

But I'm fairly satisfied with the rest of this draft. They finally grabbed someone I was high on, Penn State back Tony Hunt. If you're looking for a Christmas present for me, there you go. I've said a hundred times that they can't rely on Correll Buckhlater, who ALWAYS gets hurt, and they always ignore that common sense.... but now they actually took a guy I loved and watched for years. That makes up for throwing Donovan under a bus, almost.

They also got some depth at outside backer, tight end, and corner. These are all good need spots to address. I hope the offensive line stays healthy, and I still can't believe Donte Stallworth came and went so fast, but I think the roster is pretty good. C +

STEELERS: Unlike the Eagles, they missed an obvious local PSU connection by not taking Paul Poszlnusky. That one hurts. Instead, they went for some guy from Florida State who might be a Peter Boulware, or might not. Don't know. They did get Lamar Woodley, who was rated high early in the college season but dropped. I have to note that they got the best punter in college for the last few years. So that's nice. Otherwise, not a very exciting day for them. C

BEST RESULTS: Browns, Cardinals, Patriots, Raiders, Giants, Panthers

STUPID: (lots of people)

Yeah, it was a long time ago, but I remember punching myself in the face when they went with Timmons. Who apparently is very good. But I had my heart set on Pslyqyczlzlkyzy.
